Great Himalayan National Park was constituted in 1984 and was formally notified as a national park in 1999. It is located in Banjaar Sub-Division of Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh, India, in the far Western Himalayas. GHNP is one of the most recent additions to a huge network of wildlife reserves found in Himalayan region in India and adjoining countries.

Identity Design

Logo Design | Collateral Design

The entire identity of GHNP was lost as the earlier designers had not shared the files with the authorities. So we had to redesign
the branding from scratch for GHNP, which was handed over to the officials, and now is being used on all branding material.

A famous painting of Western Tragopan created by a local artist was converted into an intricate vector artwork and used as a logo for the organisation.

Concept design for the gates of
Sai Ropa complex

The concept design for the gate, was inspired by Himachali / Kullu architecture, and uses locally available material.

The three logos (Government of Himachal Pradesh, UNESCO World Heritage Site, GHNP) and text was entirely handcrafted by the local artisans which showcases their dexterity with wooden sculptures and also generated some additional income for them.
